Ancient Order of Hibernians - Writing Contest
The National Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) has announced the 2010 Irish History Writing Contest. The contest is open to all children in grade levels 6-12. Grades 6, 7, 8 – topic: Role of Women in the 1916 Rebellion (500 to 1000 words). Grade 9, 10, 11, 12 – topic: The Irish Playing the Game: Sports of the World (750 to 1500 words).
