[...] Posts about Andrew Sullivan as of August 29, 2009 Links for August 29 – rc3.org 08/30/2009 Sometime soon I’m going to write about how being a programmer makes me think differently about toothpaste. In the meantime: Delightful video of a magician performing tricks for a chimpanzee . (Via Marginal Revolution .) The Washington Post ran only Dick Cheney could love on the torture of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed today. There’s pushback everywhere. Here’s Andrew Sullivan . Here’s former CIA agent Melvin Goodman . Here’s Glenn Greenwald . Oh, and here’s KSM on the lies he told under torture. Glenn Beck on oligarhy; John Pilger on the clever young hypnotist – hurryupharry.org 08/29/2009 Is this self-satire? I fear not. Am I a liberal spelling elitist for linking to it? Possibly. (Hat tip: Andrew Sullivan ) And for a refreshingly different view of Obama, watch John “ Glossy Uncle Tom ” Pilger address the International Socialist Organization (more or less the equivalent of the SWP in the UK, despite their tragic split ) in San Francisco.
