Nine Time All-Ireland fiddle champion Eileen Ivers will be performing An Nolliag (An Irish Christmas) with her band, Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul, with the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall. A founding member of Cherish the Ladies, early member of Green Fields of America, original fiddle star of Riverdance and more than thirty World Champion medals, Ivers is only the second American female to win an All-Ireland Fiddle Championship, then repeated eight more times.
Tommy “Pipes” McDonell started as a drummer, but his voice captured the attention of music lovers across the world, and in Hollywood. McConnell was a fixture in the Dan Akroyd, John Goodman Blues Brothers Band and his warm and engaging renditions of Christmas classics will stay in your mind long after the concert has ended.
Two Shows, Thursday December 18th and Friday December 19th, at the stunning Severance Hall. Traditional tunes and evocative ballads from today and wonderful songs and tunes going back hundreds of years, all orchestrated with the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra.
