Sunday, October 5th.  St. Joseph’s Shrine (located North side of US Route 12, between Egan & Springville Highway) in the Irish Hills of Lenawee County).  After Mass, a short ceremony will be held at Michigan’s only An Gorta Mor Monument, located on the church grounds. See for more info.

Akron – AOH Conferring Degrees

The conferring of the Major Degrees of the Order is September 27th at the Hibernian Hall, 2000 Brown Street, Akron. This is a requirement for all members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians as pledged when first initiated. Degrees ceremony @ 11:30 am. There is a $10.00 fee to obtain degrees to off set the cost of degree team expenses. All Hibernians are welcome. Following the event there will be an option to join the Akron AOH as the University of Akron Zips play the University of Cincinnati, at the Akron Rubber Bowl. A hospitality tent will be set up with special ticket prices for the 3:30 event. Entertainment @ the AOH Hall after / refreshments available.
