We are not close, you and I
Tho’ in reality, nothing could make us closer.
Different views, different ways,
different steel forged in wildly different trials:
Immigrant, stowaway, self-made, closed door
1st generation, spilt-reality, decimated, alone in a crowded hall.
Yet we each must make our own path
and have, and do,
separate, and bewildering to the other.
